Booking Information



Please read the following information carefully



* Weekends are busy and fill up quickly, so Book early!
* Once booked, your time slot is reserved for you and other bookings are turned down, so please make every effort to keep your booking. The cancellation policy below applies to all events, regardless of the reason for cancelling.



SIMPLE BOOKING PROCESS



We offer various packages and pricing options to fit your needs. Contact us for a Quote! Prices are subject to change, so please inquire about current rates at the time of booking. Travel fees may apply.


*Your time slot is not booked until we receive BOTH the agreement and the deposit. The time slot remains available to other customers until we have both the Agreement and deposit.*


Agreement Form

Upon booking, you will be sent a link to the Digital Agreement. This form must be filled out, signed (digitally), and submitted as soon as possible.


Deposit

Deposits are required and the amount is determined on services booked, amount of artists, and booking duration, and will be specified in your price quote. Deposits can be paid via Venmo, PayPal, or business checks (for corporate events only) and are deducted from the total due.


Balance Due

Any balance remaining must be paid at the event (cash, Venmo, PayPal). Please have exact change and be ready to pay upon the artist's completion. We typically have multiple bookings per day, and attempting to collect payment from parents who are busy tending to cake, presents, guests, etc. costs valuable time needed to clean up and travel to the next event. If the artist does an exceptional job, tipping is acceptable and appreciated. 


** A $30 fee will be charged for a payment that is returned or not honored for any reason. 



*** CANCELLATION POLICY ***



Please notify us immediately if you are cancelling or postponing the event. Cancellation must be done in writing (email or text from the booking client)


We block out your time slot and turn down other jobs for that time, so the following fees will apply if you cancel your event.

In the event the customer cancels their contract:

* 21+ days from the event date - deposit will be refunded in full.

* 14-20 days prior to event date - deposit will be refunded minus a $30 fee.

* 2-14 days from the event date - the entire deposit will be forfeited.

* Within 24 hours of the event start time - payment is due in full.



POSTPONING A BOOKING



If requested by customer, we will make every attempt to postpone the booking to a later date, if possible. There will be a $30 fee for each time the event is postponed. If a new date is never given to us or if the new date is not available, cancellation fees will apply to the original date of the event.


*Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

* Refunds are not given due to inclement weather, so please plan accordingly.



Terms & Conditions



UNDER/OVERTIME

Client agrees to pay full amount even if artist is used for less time than booked. If the Artist is used for any time over the amount booked, including time spent attempting to collect payment, client will be billed for the balance per 1/2 hour.

* Artists often have multiple events and are not usually able to work past the time booked, so please plan accordingly for the number of expected guests


SHELTER

Artists will work outdoors under proper weather conditions, but a suitable shelter/shade is required unless prior notification is given. A $35 fee will apply if the artist needs to bring/set up their own canopy. In the event of heavy rain or wind, thunder or lightening, extreme cold or heat, or any other extreme weather conditions, moving to an indoor location will be required.

* We do not give refunds for inclement weather.


PARKING

Parking must be provided for the artist near the event location. The Client will reimburse the artist for any parking fees.


CHILD SUPERVISION

Artists are not responsible for supervising children. Children’s behavior and safety is the parents’ responsibility. The artist is not a babysitter or caregiver and is unable to watch other children while he/she is working.


ATTIRE

Artists dress in appropriate, casual clothing. We do not wear costumes of any kind, but may paint our faces. Please let us know in advance if you have any special requests or requirements for the artist's attire. We may or may not be able to accommodate your request.


Liability Waiver: **Fancy Face Creations, its artists, assistants, partners, and venues/locations in which the events are held are not responsible for exposure to or transmission of any illness or virus regardless of the person's participation in our services or interaction with our artists. Fancy Face Creations and the aforementioned parties are not liable for damages, injury, infection, reactions, viruses, contagions, or long term conditions resulting from any equipment used by the artist(s) or by products used, including but not limited to balloons, face paints, inks, glitters, adhesives, powders, henna, gems, beads, temporary tattoos, latex, wipes, or cleaning/sanitizing solutions. Adults, parents or guardians, and party/Event organizers recognize that there may be risks involved with our event services and understand that by booking and/or utilizing our services, you are releasing Fancy Face Creations and the aforementioned parties from any liability.
